Anne Stahl was born in Kiel, Germany in 1968. At the age of 19, Stahl moved to Dublin, Ireland, where she studied Fine Art at the Dun Laoghaire College of Art and Design. Countless group exhibits in Ireland and internationally followed. Stahl earned several awards from the Irish Arts Council, the Irish Photography Society and was granted tax exempt status in 1997. After several trips to the US, Stahl moved to California in 2000, showing in Los Angeles, Napa, San Luis Obispo and San Jose.
Stahl taught art (painting, drawing and photography) at Cuesta College and CalPoly Pomona.
Stahl's work is widely collected and exhibited.
