Anita Wexler is currently an Art teacher at Sarasota High School and has been teaching for
over a decade. Growing up in a small farming town in Illinois and dreaming of other parts
of the world; she has traveled to 30 countries and has more on her list of places to visit.
Anita graduated from Parsons New School of Design and Bank Street College of Education,
both in New York City. Her artwork has been exhibited in the South Florida Museum, Andrews
Art Museum, The Museum of the Americas, Dunedin Art Museum Sculpture Exhibition, Ormond Museum and the Lake Eustis Museums(and is part of the latter’s permanent collection) and so many local and surrounding area art exhibitions, as well as, newspaper, magazine and television features including HGTV and Gulfcoast Journal with Carl Perkins.
Anita continues to actively paint and participate in numerous art exhibitions and public art projects.
