Beverly views each photo as a blank canvas. Sometimes it is au natural or other times her digital fingers travel over the image. Often her photos take on a painterly look. Her subjects are eclectic - from nature to portraits and architecture to wild and domestic animals. She also loves doing macro work exposing the small world to the naked eye. Beverly has exhibited in several venues in the state of Washington and won several awards, including Tacoma Art Museum (People's choice), Best of Show at Gig Harbor Peninsula Art League (Gig Harbor, WA) and Ocean Shores (WA) annual exhibit, and many other award. She currently has her work exhibited in Sidney Art Gallery, Port Orchard, and was featured artists for three one-woman shows. A photographic composite in 2013 won best art by the Gig Harbor Art Commissions and South Kitsap Journal news publication (all Washington state). In addition she has designed images for apparel, postcards, brochures, calendars, coordinate an art and poetry book in 2013 and 2014. Her photos are in many homes and in businesses. Beverly travels all over the world and in her own backyard to find that elusive treasure, "The perfect picture."
