I am a mosaic artist, living in Santa Barbaa, CA, who has lived in a number of countries: Spain, East Cameroun, Costa Rica and visited many more. I have a mosaic of a Kente Cloth which would be very appreciated by Ghanians in the embassy in Accra. I visited Ghana in the 1970s and bought a beautiful Kente Cloth, which became the model for the mosaic. The two mosaics inspired by N'Kongsamba teenagers are taken from drawings with watercolor that they made in 1964 when I taught art at the Catholic Mission in n'Kongsamba, East Cameroun where I was a Peace Corps volunteer. My mission was teaching ESL at the local teacher's college, but I volunteered to teach art at the mission because the art teacher there knew nothing about art and asked me to do it.
