Having been influenced by 19th and early 20th century landscape painters' imagery, my monotype prints are intricately created by a reductive process of oil based ink on a metal plate. When the monotype image with its complete accompanying tonality is finished, it is then delicately accented with specially prepared diluted colors to complete the creation of what I hope is an intimate experience for the viewer.
I studied at Ringling School of Art, Kean University, National Academy of Design School of Fine Art, and The Art Students League, as well as privately.
My work has been in numerous one person and group exhibitions, and is in public and private collections throughout the United States, Canada, The Netherlands, Ireland, and Japan.
