Cadence Giersbach is a New York based artist. She earned a BA at Vassar College, an MFA at Rutgers University and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. She makes abstract paintings and other artworks and has shown in the US, Mexico and Europe. One of her four public art commissions is the mosaic at the Myrtle-Wyckoff MTA subway station. She is the recipient of several awards including a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Fellowship and a NYFA fellowship in Painting.
