Lucinda is well schooled in the rigorous techniques of art, receiving awards and scholarships, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1985 her post-graduate studies are in glass, paint and collage at Duke University, Yellow Barn Gallery & Studio and Maryland Hall for Creative Arts. She has exhibited in New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Florida, Maryland, and the Washington DC area. She is represented by HG Art & Framing Consultants, Artists Circle of Fine Arts, Canton Gallery, Amandeline Gallery and a variety of other galleries and boutiques.
As an artist she is driven to explore with and develop techniques that create texture and depth. The world is not flat and neither is her work, although at first glance or from a distance they seem 2-D as the viewer comes closer the compositions expose layers of intricate details.
