Diane Cionni is an MFA candidate at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She studied in Maryland Institute College of Art's MFA program for two years and at Antioch and Fort Lewis College, graduating suma cum laude with a BA in Fine Arts. She has been a resident artist at the Vermont Studio Center and at Anderson Ranch Arts Center as well as special study at the Studio School in New York, at the Mosaic School of Ravenna in Italy and at BC2 in Barcelona, Spain. Her artwork ranges from painting and digital and traditional printmaking to installation and sculpture. Her work is inspired by parallels in science and eastern philosophy and aims to create an intimate experience of connections between visible and invisible human experience. Her paintings are in public and private collections internationally including the University of Colorado Medical Center, Steamboat Grand Resort in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and Calcutta India’s Mercy Hospital where she was a resident artist. She maintains a studio in the western Rocky Mountains.
