Carrie Fucile works with wide range of media, with a focus on sound and video. Recent exhibitions include VOX IX at Vox Populi Gallery, Philadelphia, PA; Half-and-Half at The Cade Gallery, Arnold, MD, and Subtext, at School 33, Baltimore, MD. In 2013 she received a 2013 Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award. She was a Semi-Finalist for Baltimore’s Janet & Walter Sondheim Artscape Prize in 2012.
Fucile was born in Baltimore, and now lives and works in the city where she was born. She received her BA from Dartmouth College in 1999 and her MFA from Brooklyn College, the City University of New York in 2006. She is a Lecturer in Digital Art at Towson University.
