For more than 30 years, the artist Daniel Orr has been translating curiosity into a body of work that, at its core, is about minimalist beauty. With a foundation in ceramics, he expanded his focus to include photography, painting, and digital art while living in Japan at the turn of the millennia. His pieces are impressionistic, in that they are often abstract, but rooted in subject matter that is recognizable. He seeks to make honest work he believes or knows.
