Dr. Daria Loi is Founder/Curator at imperfecta, an art and design gallery focused on elevating the work of women artists and minority creatives. Besides her current roles as Honorary Professor at Newcastle University and Arts Commissioner for the City of Oregon City, she serves on DemocracyLab Board of Directors, Destination Oregon City Inc. Board of Directors as well as the CETI Executive Council, and is Columnist for ACM Interactions. Previously, she was CXO at Astral, Principal Engineer at Intel, Mozilla's Head of Design/Experiences, Avast's CTO Head of Innovation and Fishtail's VP of UX/Design. Dr. Loi has conducted research and presented her work in most continents, published 90+ articles & papers, holds 10+ patents, mentors emerging innovators and serves as chair or committee member on diverse journals, institutes and conferences. In 2018, she was recognized as one of Italy’s 50 most inspiring women in tech (InspiringFifty).
