David Van Ness

Texas native. My father always wanted to be an artist but instead became a mathematician to support his family. I have always been supported by my family and am very grateful for this. I went to undergrad at Maryland Institute College of Art and graduate school at Cranbrook Academy of Art. I have been teaching since 2005 in many different areas of art. My work is inspired by the human desire to shape their world though technology and consumerism.
