Denise Regan

Denise was born on Ellis Island, NY and grew up on Staten Island, NY.
She has made her home on Shelter Island for some years now. Denise has always made her living as a painter, even in her early career days. A bright and highly focused woman, her process as a colorist is extraordinary in its meditative, ever expanding quality.

Denise was educated at Wagner College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1972, and at
New York University with a Master of Fine Arts in 1976.
