DJ Stone is an oil painter and installation artist residing in Arkansas. She earned a BA in Fine Art from Arkansas Tech University and is known for her ability to replicate a sense of serenity in her impressionistic paintings of figures interacting with landscapes and her passion for interpreting American poetry on canvas. She is also fond of rendering more realistic images of cowboys in everyday life. In her installations, she again promotes images of peace, as in her work "Prayers on Wings," and uses mannequins to promote delightful vignettes.
