Eva Kwong was born in Hong Kong and grew up in New York City where she attended the High School of Music and Art. This bilingual and bicultural upbringing provided her with the experience to view life from more than one point of view.
She received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA from the Tyler School of Art. Her artwork has received many awards, from the Ohio Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, Arts Midwest, Pennsylvania Council On the Arts and the McKnight Fellowship.
Eva’s work has been shown extensively around the US and abroad. She has lectured and taught workshops at over a hundred schools.
