Elise Wagner is represented by Chase Young Gallery in Boston, MA, Butters Gallery in Portland, OR and Hallway Gallery in Bellevue, WA. An expert at the ancient encaustic medium that combines beeswax, pigment and resin, Wagner's work is in private and corporate collections throughout the United States. Most recently, the Sordoni Art Gallery at Wilkes University presented a survey exhibition entitled Elise Wagner - A Decade in Painting which opened concurrently with a solo exhibition at Chase Young Gallery in Boston and was accompanied by a title exhibition catalogue.
Wagner's work explores the relationship between science and art. In October 2011, she has been invited for a solo exhibition at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston where she will be part of a discussion between distinguised science faculty and herself about the subject of her art and how it relates to science.
