Linda Cummings

Linda Cummings is a photographic artist who teaches at the International Center of Photography in New York City, NY, where she lives, works and exhibits her artwork at the dmlcontemporary gallery. Cummings was born in Valley Forge, PA and has a BFA from Nova Scotia College of Art and an MFA from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. She is the recipient of numerous fellowships and awards from prominent art institutions including the Whitney Museum of American Art. Her work has been widely exhibited nationally and internationally and is in private and public collections such as the National Museum of American Art at the Smithsonian, Washington, DC; Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, NY; Bronx Museum, Bronx, NY; Musee Jenisch, Vevey, Switzerland; and the Museo Nazionale della Fotographia in Brescia, Italy. Her work has been widely published and featured in BLIND SPOT magazine and the "Director's Cut" of APERTURE.
