Mellissa Frangias graduated in 2007 from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. concentrating in photography. Today, she is a freelance photographer, and teaches drawing and painting at private studio in Southern California. Because she spent a significant part of her childhood overseas, her passion for painting and photography stems from her experiences abroad. Much of her work focuses on people, as well as their true environment. In 2014, she will be traveling to Thailand to photograph for several different non profits.
