Jean Feinberg is a painter now living in New York’s Hudson Valley. She has shown her work in solo and group shows in the US and abroad. Feinberg received her BA from Skidmore College, and her MA from Hunter College. She has been a recipient of National Endowment for the Arts grants, as well as Yaddo, MacDowell, and Edward Albee Foundation Colony residencies. Feinberg has taught, and lectured about her work, at various institutions including the Parsons School of Design, Princeton University, the Chicago Art Institute, RISDE, Brown University, and Bard’s Milton Avery Graduate School of the Art. She recently retired from teaching painting at FIT/SUNY where she was Assistant Professor.
