Lawana Holland-Moore is a published writer and artist living in the Washington, DC Metro area.
She has a BA in History and Journalism from The George Washington University and has been published in both fiction and nonfiction publications such as the Dark Dreams anthology series and the African-American National Biography series published by Harvard/Oxford U. Press. She is currently a graduate student at Goucher College, working on a MA in Historic Preservation.
Also an exhibited fiber artist, her art quilt pieces have been seen in galleries and museums across the country. History, heritage and science are important elements in her work.
