Born in NYC in 1950, I studied art at Yale University, Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and Indiana University.
Group shows include the Drawing Center in NYC and the Martucci Gallery in Irvington, NY.
This group of photographs, from a series entitled "Infinity," are digital images of flannel shirts under water. These shirts give me a sense of comfort, especially as they wear out. I use their ordered designs and colors, transformed by water, to explore the distance between the infinite “out there” and the intimately close-to-home.
