Holly Lay recently received her MFA from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2019.
She exhibits nationally and internationally with work that examines cyber culture,
femininity, craft and kitsch. Her recent exhibition Untitled Screen Caps is featured in the
Past, Present, Future photography exhibit at the New Orleans Museum of Art. The
work is a collection of screen captures from various media outlets that used her selfportrait
stock photography. It explores the way images of women are manipulated and
used in the media.
