Edward Rossel is a first generation Hispanic American, based out of Miami. As the child of immigrants, his work often deconstructs fixed notions of identity and place, informed by extensive study in phenomenology and eastern philosophy. His most recent body of work was directly inspired by a five week research period in India, as well as participating in a traditional 3 year meditation retreat at a Tibetan Monastery in upstate NY.
