John Belardo

John Belardo is a contemporary representational sculptor who has exhibited nationally in private galleries and at institutions such as the New York State Capital Building, the National Arts Club, the Newington-Cropsey Foundation Gallery, and the Franklyn D. Roosevelt Estate and Library. Mr. Belardo has won numerous awards including the Medal of Honor for Sculpture from the American Artists Professional League and the Peitro Montana Memorial Award from the Hudson Valley Art Association. His public commissions include notably Georgetown University Medical Center, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, Lehman College CUNY and The Cooperstown Theater Festival. Mr. Belardo has worked closely with the Hudson Valley Art Association for several years and is currently their president. In addition, he teaches sculpture and drawing at Lehman College. Mr. Belardo was educated at the New York Academy of Art and as a studio assistant for Richard McDermott Miller.
