J. Ford Huffman

J. Ford Huffman is an artist, designer, creative director and art director.
As an artist, he works in multi-media assemblage, in colored pencils and in photography.
Until 2009, his assemblage work had never been exhibited publicly.
The world changed, and his work has been exhibited in four curated shows:
-- Solo exhibit, the Art Registry, Georgetown (November 2009 – January 2010). 16 pieces sold.

-- Group exhibit, “Stimulus” at Nevin Kelly Gallery in Columbia Heights, (June - July 2009).

Huffman is advising the Hindustan Times of India about presentation, writing and editing. He has worked with The Washington Post, the San Francisco Chronicle and other newsrooms including USA TODAY, where he was a deputy managing editor and recommended the design of Page One.
Huffman has designed t-shirt images for organizations including D.C. Front Runners, D.C. Triangles (soccer), Team DC and The Bath House (in Berkeley Springs, W. Va.). The U.S. Marine Corps selected his design as the brand image for the 2004 Marine Corps Marathon.
