Profile Image: Seo Young Deok (b. 1983) is a sculptor based in Seoul, South Korea. His work explores themes of solitude amidst urban chaos, while also providing moments of tranquility in an increasingly crowded modern world. For over 15 years, he’s crafted intricate sculptures of the human form using bicycle chains. Deok’s work has been exhibited internationally, with solo shows across Europe and Korea. He has also participated in art fairs, including Art Miami and more. He is a graduate of the University of Seoul, with specialization in Environmental Sculpture.
