Joy is a visual artist. She has been involved in art all her life. Joy graduated from China Central Academy of Fine Arts. Her interests propelled her to study abroad in Massachusetts College of Art and Design and got her Master of Fine Art from Academy of Art University, besides, she took advanced studies at Stanford University to explore Modern and Abstract Art. The extensive experience and professional knowledge help her with many projects. Joy had proved herself to be an invaluable resource and a great art ambassador for culture exchange. She was also the founder of non-profit organization Arts for Future.
Art Statement
The fluid space of memory, influenced by time, places and experiences forms the foundation of content for my art exploration and adventures. My continuous pursuant for the enhancement of the value of arts intertwined with cultural interactions further preserve our collective memory on history and heritage, which, in return, help to reinforce the roots and source of energy connecting our past and the work towards the future. My vision of art, in view of multi-national interaction as well as cross-industry expression, presented by pieces of art works and international art events, is all woven together in the threat of my art philosophy, which I would define as “The Value of Arts and Cultural Heritage”.
