Contemporary pararealist oil painter. Born in Habersham County, Georgia, U.S., near the foot of the Appalachian Trail. BFA Cum Laude Va Commonwealth Univ 92, MFA Tx Christian Univ 94. My paintings are in the permanent collections of The Dallas Museum of Art, The Art Museum of South Tx, and numerous corporate and private collections around the country. In 2007 a White House Blue Room Ornament was commissioned from me by Congresswoman Kay Granger of Texas, the ornament remains in the White House collection. I've taught and lectured at Tx Christian Univ, The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, The Kimbell Museum and many arts organizations. I've had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Fort Worth, around Texas, New Mexico, New York, Virginia and Georgia. My work in competition has received Best in Show honors from noted artists James Surls and Louis Jimenez, et al. In 2010 I have been a guest columnist in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, my columns appearing quarterly.
