KC Rosenberg
Biography

Currently, KC Rosenberg is an Associate Professor at The California College of The Arts, Oakland / San Francisco California, where her position as the The First Year Program Chair, contributes to the leadership of the college. KC has also taught at The San Francisco Art Institute and the University of California. Davis. She began her graduate work in painting at the University of Arizona, Tucson, (1991) and completed her MFA degree in Studio Art at The University of California, Davis (1994) KC was awarded a fellowship from UC Davis and funds from the Andy Warhol Foundation to attend The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine. (1993) Her undergraduate studies include studying painting at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Massachusetts, in (1985-1986) and completion of her BFA degree from The California College of Arts & Crafts, Oakland California. in printmaking with high distinction (1987)

Solo Exhibitions include: dam'zel, Patricia Sweetow Gallery, San Francisco, California, Sedimental Sentiments, Introductions, Center for Contemporary Arts, Sacramento California. KC is included in the Alameda County Art Collection and received an Alameda County Art Commission Purchase Award. Rosenberg has curated and coordinated exhibitions including Who’s the Fairest of Them All, women considering social justice in the everyday, at Hang Art in San Francisco Other exhibitions of her work include, Ephemories, a two person exhibition with Lisa Kokin, Los Medanos Community College, Pittsburg, California and Sublime, an invitational exhibition, SCG Projects Gallery, Pamona, California. Rosenberg’s creative practice continues in Alameda, California where she resides with her family.
