Kelda Martensen is a visual artist known for her hand-printed collages and artist books built and composed through many layers and stages of printmaking, collage and drawing. Martensen has collaborated on over 15 large-scale murals and public projects and curates shows and exchanges both nationally and regionally.
Martensen is Tenured Faculty and Art Department Coordinator at North Seattle College. Martensen earned her BA in Studio Art from Willamette University and an MFA in Visual Art from Washington University in St. Louis. Born in Tacoma, Washington, Kelda Martensen now lives in Seattle, Washington with her family. Her work is represented by J. Rinehart Gallery in Seattle.
