LeonidesArts NY is an artist run non-profit visual arts organization whose mission is to present contemporary art exhibitions and public art projects that reflects a variety of distinct artistic styles, disciplines, themes, and cultural experiences.
LeonidesArts is dedicated to giving artists a platform to create and produce in all media. Unlike the standard commercial gallery approach, LeonidesArts engenders a more pragmatic working relationship for artists allowing them the freedom to independently determine their personal goals and initiatives artistically and supports the development and presentation of their work to as wide of an audience as possible.
Since its inception LeonidesArts has challenged the notion of how art is shown and perceived. Other aspects of the organization include artist’s talks, workshops, poetry readings, and community outreach programming. With landmark exhibits presented both here in the US and internationally LeonidesArts NY continues to redefine the idea of how art is seen and acknowledged.
