Published poet in Poets and Writers Directory since 1979. Ran an acclaimed Poetry Reading in Manhattan in the early 1980s. Has taught poetry to teenagers for many years. More recently,fotopoems, a mixture of fotos and poems based on the images.
Has been intrigued with Photography since the days of darkrooms in Far Rockaway,N.Y. and has blossomed with the use of PhotoShop and digital Photography. Has had fotos exhibited at the Minard Theater in Ghent, Belgium(Wasmedat: fotos of Laundromats/people in Laundromats) and several fotos at the Musee d’Elysee in Lausanne, Switzerland: projected images on the Museum’s walls.
I have had fotos in the online magazine NowPublic illustrating articles on salmonella poisoning,blood doping and “kryptonite”. Acceratingchange.org used my foto of wind turbine overlayed with solar panel and the Australian travel magazine GetLost used my Whitehorse Tavern foto with other historic taverns for a Budweiser Advertisement.
More recently I have exhibited at the Southern Vermont Art Center in both their Members collection and the juried Collector’s Gallery, at the Wardsboro Public Library(as their “artist of the month”) and at the Sala 1 Gallery in Rome, Italy during their Annual Photography Festival.
