Lisa Bauer was born in Fairfax, Virginia and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York, since 2006. She received a BFA from Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University in 2006. She has exhibited at In Rivers Gallery, Brooklyn (2011); Gallery Gachet, Vancouver (2011); Rush Gallery, New York (2010); 808 Gallery Boston(2004-2006); and Merriam Gallery, Cambridge (2004). Her work is in the collection of Long Island University at C.W. Post Library and the Boston Public Library. She has been published in Nylon Mexico ( December 2010), The Gwanghwamoon International Art Festival in Seoul, Korea (2011), Memory Full (2011) and various blogs (2010 - Present).
