Born in Odessa, Ukraine in 1987 Inga Loyeva’s first decade was spent in a post-Soviet country where her future as an artist was assumed before she could walk. After her family immigrated to the Tampa Bay as political refugees, her new peers and teachers helped her acclimate to new culture and language. Inga was an Honor student at Palm Harbor University High School and after graduation at 16 earned a full scholarship to the New World School of the Arts in Miami. Her passion for classical study took her to Florence, Italy to the Angel Academy of Art where she is currently studying classical realism. Once again Inga has earned herself a full year scholarship from the Academy (this time a private institution that usually does not provide financial support for students).
This emerging young artist’s drawings and painting have been showing around Florida as well as Florence. She has exhibited at St. Petersburg Art Center, Temple Beth El Art Shows, Miami New World Gallery, Rising Stars Exhibition, Miami Art Basel, Florence’s Annual Angel Shows, Florence City Wide Exhibition and more. Much of her work already hangs in private collections across Florida, Canada, Italy, Ukraine, New Zealand and Japan. Inga has become noted for her commissioned portraiture and is looking forward to returning to the United States after completion of her studies to pursue her career in Fine Arts.
