Leona Brownson

I have been a painter for almost my entire life with both a BFA & MFA degrees from the University of Pennsylvania & the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. I taught art in public & private schools & college for 24 years. I have shown my work extensively in Colorado,as well as nationally & internationaly. My paintings are in numerous private & corporate collections. During President Clinton's administration I participated in the Art in Embassies Program by my maiden name which is Leona Sophocles aka Leona Sophocles Brownson. I loaned my paintings to embassies in Cyprus, Saudia Arabia & the Ukrain. I am of Greek & Cypriot Greek descent. I would be honored to, once again, represent the United States in our Embassies abroad. My paintings are in oil, acrylic & watercolor and vary in size from typically 18"x24" up to tryptichs which are 3, 22"x 30"high paintings to be read as one. My theme is landscape, rendered loosely & poetically on paper or canvas. I hope that you enjoy and represent my work. I would be honored. Thank you.
