Maremi Hooff Andreozzi is a professional artist from Virginia. She paints oil on canvas sky inspired works in a lively color palette with a focus on the nuances of clouds and light.

Maremi’s sky focused paintings are detailed studies of morphing clouds and transitional light. She relishes painting sunrises and sunsets. She calls these moments “finding good luck”. The organic subjects create a powerful often abstract composition.

Maremi earned a BFA from Cornell University and a MFA from Clemson University. She has shown her work through out the region in places such as American University, Radford University, The Torpedo Factory, Rockville Art Place, and McLean Project for the Arts to name a few. She has participated in two residencies. In 2003, she led a community based art project as part of her residency at The Mesa in Springdale, Utah. Her project coincided with the traveling Smithsonian exhibition “Key Ingredients: America By Food”. During her residency, she painted a picture that detailed the local food culture with community involvement. She led a similar project during her residency at Cornucopia Art Center, Lanesboro, Minnesota in 2002.
