I have made art all my life. My focus is on color, narrative, sensuality, and poetic rhythm. Making art is a meditation for me and a joy. The pieces that I want to be considered for the embassy program are my Abundance series. These were exhibited in Nashville at The Parthenon and the airport. They show a diversity of Nashville women in nature, and are large oil paintings filled with spirit. I also love to create collages and small drawings, and lately pastel portraits. I write poetry and had a book of my art and poetry published last year, called Listening to the Bones.
