Marni Goldshlag

Marni Goldshlag began working in fiber as a quilter in the 1990's. She very quickly turned to art quilts and by 2004 was no longer quilting, but hand stitching sheer and semi-sheer fabrics to a backing which she then stretched and framed. Marni is inspired by the natural world, especially trees, and by her interior world. Her work is usually quite abstract and colorful.
