Maria Bouquet is an Argentinian artist. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, she moves to New York in 2002 to do/pursue her Masters of Fine Arts at Pratt Institute. In 2005, Maria graduates with honours and continues to pursue her passion as a light artist, painter and photographer. Till today her work has been exhibited in Latin America, North America, Europe, and Asia. Some of her professional highlights have been participating in Critic and Analysis of Contemporary Art with Louise Bourgeois in Chelsea, New York and with Carlos Gorriarena in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Also, her work has been showcased in major fairs, such as Art Basel Miami, AAF Contemporary Art Fair New York, The Other Art Fair by Saatchi Art, Centro Cultural Borges & Museum of Contemporary Art Del Marco, Argentina, Dumbo, New York, World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank, Washington D.C.
