I received a BFA in painting from the School of Visual Arts and an MA in art and art education from the University of Massachusetts. Much of my work centers around and experience I had with my two young sons in the early 1990s concerning a Romanesque style tower of granite we came upon in the woods near our home in Vermont on an overcast March day. I work in a variety of mediums ranging from acrylic to plexiglass, wire and wire mesh expanding from a painted wood surface. Many of the recent works you will find on my website are collages of torn paper from swatches of color.
