Melissa Eder

I am a mixed media artist whose art explores notions related to female identity, popular culture, and kitsch. I create photo-based projects as well as draw and do installations. My work has been shown in the US and abroad. Some examples of venues I've shown at are the Bronx Museum of the Arts, New York University’s Broadway Windows Gallery, Art in General, the Aperture Foundation, the Parlor Gallery, Smack Mellon Studios, the University of Connecticut, Lincoln Center, the Charlotte Street Foundation’s Paragraph Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri, the Humble Arts Foundation and in Germany, London and Korea. My work has been reviewed in many publications such as the New York Times, Feature Shoot, Co Design, the Collector Daily, and The Huffington Post.
