I'm a New York City-based artist. Trees have been the focus of my paintings for over a decade. I paint the negative space around the tree in order to depict the tree itself- a process of working from the outside to reveal the center. The paintings evolve as I repaint them numerous times to find the exact color combinations in keeping with my vision.
A permanent installation of my paintings are in David Geffen Hall. Lincoln Center, New York City and my work in is the collection of the Museum of Arts & Design, NYC, among others. Recently, my work as acquired by the DePaul Art Museum, Chicago IL, and my artist's profile is on Wikipedia.
