The works seen on this site are from the Anastylosis Project begun in 1998. The series to date consists of drawings of 12th century buildings from around the world. All are UNESCO sites. The drawings so far: Chartres Cathedral-France; Angkor Wat-Cambodia; Thatbinyinyu-Burma, Palace of the Governors- Uxmal, Mexico; The Stav Church of Borgund, Norway; Ulu Camii(The Great Mosque) of Divrigi, Turkey; and The Castillo-Chichen Itza, Mexico. The large drawings which take 1-2 years to complete are accompanied by numerous smaller preparatory drawings of the site and related buildings and mimic the experience of being onsite incorporating multiple views of the building.
