I am a realist painter, an artist that has spent the past 40 years searching for my own way of seeing and interpreting with paint the world around me. I was originally lured to Washington, DC's industrial and architectural subjects long ago, seeking to capture the light and forms of these urban environments in the 21st. century. These "plein air" works capturing and recording the light and life of a unique American city.
