Nick Byron

My name is Nick Byron and I am a fine artist with specialties in oil painting, drawing, and graphic design but always open to using new mediums as well. Art is something I have been doing my whole life and has become my number one passion.
I have been doing art since I was very little and then it was when I was 15 when I decided that I wanted to go to art school and pursue a career in the arts. At that time I always knew I was different from most kids my age, but then one day the thought of how much I did art throughout my life sparked my mind. So then I picked up a pencil, made a drawing and then I was blown away by how amazing my drawing came.
I recently received my BFA from the School of Visual Arts in new York City with a major in fine arts, which is when my career as an artist started to come together. I spent a lot of that time making political and spiritual art, I am drawn to those subjects because I can connect them with what is going on in my life and that helps me communicate with others visually. My senior year is when I had my first major art exhibition at the Berlitz Language Center in Westport, CT where I had five of my oil paintings displayed, the work will continue to show until August 2010.
