Born in 1989 in Mariupol, Ukraine, in a family of artists, Nikita shows interest for art only at the age of 16 with pencil portraits, at the time his specialty at the lyceum is English language. Following the advice of his mother, the artist passes an exam to enter the faculty of architecture in Donetsk in 2006. At the university, he meets an established artist, leader of the National Artists’ Union of the region who helps him to start painting and exhibiting. In 2011 the artist finishes his studies of the architecture and decides to devote himself to painting.
His artistic career starts with a cycle of thirty works created in 2009. The cycle pictures wild landscapes, river views and sunsets. In the fall of 2009 Nikita began to exhibit his works with established artists from his hometown, Mariupol. He continued this practice until he moved to Kyïv. His next cycle of works created in 2011-2012 was devoted to the European cities with warm southern colors. Meanwhile the artist works as well on a particular project Orthodox Donbass, a commissionned work devoted to churches of the area.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2014 disrupts the artistic plans of Nikita, he is forced to suddenly leave his hometown and move to Kyïv. There, he found employment as an art teacher in a private studio, a work he continued to do until he moved to France. In 2015, the artist created a cycle of works devoted to Ukraine to represent his country in France which was achieved in the spring 2016. In 2016 Nikita has shown his artworks at the exhibitions in different European cities like Paris, Strasbourg, Arlon, Angoulême, Sarrebourg and other.
Today Nikita continues to exhibit his works in France and works on many topics, a special place in his art is devoted to his homeland of Ukraine and the events happening there. He focuses on painting and further developing his artistic skills. His works are present in private collections in France, Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Poland, Switzerland and the United States.
