David Nolan is a painter that works primarily in oil paints. He has studied at the Hussian School of Art and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, as well as with Delaware artists Marilyn Bauman and Edward L. Loper, Sr. For over a decade David has been an instructor in aesthetic programs for the Violette de Mazia Foundation. In 2015 the Foundation became incorporated into the Barnes Foundation where he continued to teach. Travel and landscapes are favorite themes in his work and include such destinations as India, France, and Quebec.
