As an artist, I study Cubism and Futurism. In my studies I include a number of artist styles that I admire, like the expression of the French brothers, Marcel and Raymond Duchamp, 1882 – 1968; the composition of Henry Moore from Britain, 1898 – 1986; and the movement in the works of Unberto Boccicni from Italy, 1882 – 1916.

I continue to explore my style of art by creating bodies of work that concentrate on people’s relationships to each others and their environment.

For many years now, I have been a part of an art studio that creates large scale public art This has given me opportunities to enlarge my work and devote more time to it. In the next few years I hope to reach beyond my local environment and explore the possibilities of creating and presenting my art in other places and cities My goal for my work is to honor the human form and his/her positive interactions with themselves and their environments.

My background includes a Bachelor of Science in Sociology / minor in Art Studio from the University of Maryland, and a 16 year continuous career as a “team” counselor. Over the last 20 years, my artwork has been displayed in over 90 festivals, schools, galleries, libraries, public recreational centers, and public parks.
