I taught art in a local school, mostly in the high school, for 35.5 years. After I retired I finally had time to create my own work. The pressures of raising a family and working commitments made it difficult for me to gather any momentum with my art. Retirement offered me the time and space for creating works of art, for the world to see. I work in acrylic paint, mostly on canvas, with subjects that are wide and varied. My work is mostly known for the work I have done with Industrial subjects. Lately, however, I have been painting complex close-ups of natural subjects. My work is, generally, complex and intricate, with a lot of detail. I love what I do and I hope other people can appreciate my point of view.
