Priscilla Whitlock

Priscilla Long Whitlock is an artist residing in Albemarle County, Virginia and Wrightsville Beach, N.C. She has been awarded residencies to paint at Acadia National Park, Cape Hatteras National Park at Buxton and Bodie Island and Les Amis du Grande Vigne in Dinan, Brittany, France and a Fellow at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts. Her work is in public collections including the Emily Couric Cancer Center, Martha Jefferson and UVa hospitals, Shady Grove in Bethesda,Md. and a private museum in France. She was represented in the Louise Wells Cameron Art Museum show and has won awards for plein air and studio work. Priscilla has painted internationally in Italy, France, Curacao, Mexico. She teaches for Beverley Street Studio School in Staunton, Va. and out of her own studio. Representation is by Les Yeux du Monde, Charlottesville, Warm Springs Gallery, Warm Springs, Va. and New Elements Gallery, Wilmington, N.C. She is an associate member of McGuffey Art Center.
